The Association of Geologists and Geological Engineers of Mapúa is an educated, skilled, and valued community of geoscience.
It is composed of Mapúan students who aspire to be geologists and geological engineers and share a common goal: to be successful in their careers and to use their knowledge positively for the welfare of everyone.
Engr. Clement Fajardo. WAS THE FIRST CHAIRMAN AND FOUNDER OF THE ASSOCIATION OF GEOLOGISTS AND GEOLOGICAL ENGINEERS OF MAPUA. THE FOUNDING OF THE ORGANIZATION TRIGGERED THE UNIFICATION OF GEO AND GSE STUDENTS. ALONG WITH THIS, DR. KARLO QUEAÑO, A PROMINENT GEOLOGIST IN THE PHILIPPINES, WAS THE FIRST FACULTY ADVISER OF AGGEM.
To expedite the welfare and proficient development of its members through effective academic, social, and professional means.
To assimilate all geology and geological engineering students of Mapúa for the benefit of everyone by development, propagation, and intelligent use of geoscientific information. To encourage and inspire research and education for public stimulation of the importance of geology in our daily lives, and identify excellence.

To promote Geology to all non-college and undergraduate students.
To promote geology and to enlighten society about its role.
To establish opportunities for students studying Geology or doing work along geological lines, and other interested people to hear subjects relating to Environmental Science with the purpose of gaining a better understanding of the nature of the subject matter.
To foster a community for all undergraduates interested in the Earth Sciences through activities such as fieldwork, seminars, books, research papers, and lectures.
To affiliate and cooperate with other geological organizations, and related non-geological organizations in the Philippines.
To provide further technical and professional development to its members in Petrology, Mineralogy, Structural Geology, and other related courses.
